Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our client's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks in assigned work areas, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Collect and sort laundry, following specific instructions for treatment and classification.
  • Operate laundry facilities and equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the Supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of chemicals and linen supplies.
  • Ensure resident privacy and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, and safety.
  • Perform outside work as required, including removal of light snow and sanding/salting.
  • Collaborate with other departments on tasks such as transferring residents and moving supplies.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift, reach, and move equipment, with exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors.
  • Capacity to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions.
