About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, trial balance, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
