About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Three Hills Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support: Assist pharmacists with patient care, including applying casts, splints, and bandages, and processing claims for health insurance and workers' compensation.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general clerical duties, order supplies and equipment, and schedule appointments.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a secure work environment by undergoing a criminal record check.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate a client-focused approach, dependability, and ability to multitask.
  • Cultural Competence: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 1 year of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

35 hours per week, permanent position, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and customer service.
