Park Paving Ltd. has been a cornerstone in the road construction industry for nearly five decades, proudly serving Edmonton and its neighboring regions. We are currently seeking a qualified HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC to enhance our Maintenance Division.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering competitive compensation and benefits.

The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will encompass:

  • Collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient completion of work orders.
  • Operating with minimal supervision while leading and mentoring others as necessary.
  • Completing essential documentation, including work orders and hazard assessments.
  • Diagnosing, testing, and adjusting equipment and parts as required.
  • Conducting routine and preventive maintenance on all machinery.
  • Independently servicing heavy-duty equipment in the field.
  • Performing CVIP inspections is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Identifying and documenting necessary repairs during inspections for approval.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas and tool storage.
  • Possessing a CVIP license is advantageous but not a requirement.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed or apprentice Heavy Duty Technician with a valid driver's license, possessing a comprehensive understanding of various heavy-duty machinery to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with supervisors and colleagues, all while fostering a respectful workplace.

*** Candidates must maintain a clean driving record and successfully pass a medical/fitness evaluation as part of the employment conditions. ***
