About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ten Sushi. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our sushi bar and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, and take corrective action to resolve issues.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on sales, stock levels, and other relevant data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification and any other relevant certifications.
