Job Title: Supply Registered Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Supply Registered Early Childhood Educator. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational experiences for our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers to plan and implement the Kindergarten program, maintaining a healthy and inclusive learning environment. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work as a team, and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the integration of faith in all areas of the curriculum, including the delivery of the Religion program.
  • Collaborate with teachers to observe, monitor, and assess student progress and development.
  • Partner with teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate and student-interest driven play-based programming.
  • Assist students in becoming independent with washroom routines, dressing, and lunchtime activities.
  • Administer medication in accordance with Board Policy and Administration Regulations.
  • Provide age-appropriate programming for groups of students as part of an extended day program.
Requirements:
  • OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) with an Early Childhood Education Diploma.
  • Minimum of six months experience in an educational setting.
  • Proof of registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators.
  • Knowledge of current Ministry of Education Kindergarten Program.
  • Excellent interpersonal qualities and ability to work as a team.
  • Experience planning and implementing developmentally-appropriate programs.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
