About the Company

Our client, a leading real estate development company in Canada, is seeking a skilled Development Accountant Analyst to support their team.

About the Role

The Development Accounting Analyst will be responsible for handling development accounting, budgeting, construction draws, funding packages, reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, and project reporting for mixed-use projects. This role requires strong proficiency in financial analysis, IFRS reporting, advanced Excel (including macros), and Yardi Voyager. Prior experience in a joint ventures business environment is highly preferred.

The Offer

This role offers a competitive salary of up to $90K, an annual bonus, 3 weeks' vacation, pension, 100% covered benefits, a health spending account, a corporate gym membership, and advancement opportunities.

Requirements
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • CPA designation or in progress
  • Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience in mixed-use development and construction
