Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Diane Chicoine. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Provide companionship and social support, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with medication management, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Punctuality, client focus, flexibility, initiative, and patience are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

As a Caregiver Assistant, you will work in the employer's/client's home, providing one-on-one support to our clients. This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
