At RB Global Inc., we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform team, you'll play a key role in shaping our Customer Master Data Management solution.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly technical individual with a strong background in application development, cloud technologies, and team leadership. Your expertise will drive the delivery and execution of features using Java, Springboot Microservices, AWS technologies, Kafka, Kubernetes, and automated CICD pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test platform applications using cloud technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Lead the development of complex features and drive technical decisions
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases, code coverage, and performance testing
  • Deploy applications using automated CICD pipelines
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent
  • ~10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years as Senior Software engineer or a tech Lead role
  • Hands-on experience with designing IT solutions, modeling, business requirements gathering/analysis, and systems analysis
  • Ability to prepare specifications and reports, deliver oral presentations, and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
  • Experience in performing complex analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, web application design, and integration experience
