Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at S G INTERNATIONAL TRADING INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
    • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Payroll Administration
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
    • Prepare tax returns
    • Prepare trial balance of books
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
