Senior Solutions Architect Job Description

At Amazon, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) Solutions Architecture team. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their digital transformation goals by designing and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that address their challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services.
  • Design and implement highly flexible and resilient architectures that accelerate customer adoption of cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to ensure our customers receive the best possible solutions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain area, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems, such as SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Objects.
