Role Overview

The Operations Planning Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and operations planning team, particularly within our Business Aviation, Helicopter Aviation, and Maintenance training sectors. This position is essential for assisting the team with updates for various business reviews, monthly forecasts, annual planning activities, and special business projects. It serves as an entry-level opportunity in the field of reporting and analytics within a dynamic and growing global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refresh reports (including revenue performance, business presentations, and more) utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, Salesforce Cloud, and PowerPoint.
  • Collect and structure both quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights aimed at enhancing forecast precision, uncovering opportunities, and identifying potential risks.
  • Offer analytical assistance for diverse business requirements and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Engage in additional tasks and process enhancement projects as necessary.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience or coursework.
  • Strong attention to detail with advanced proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly organized with effective skills in priority management.
  • Proactive in seeking and recommending improvements to business practices.
  • Comfortable in supporting transformative initiatives.
  • Possesses analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with other teams.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Motivated to learn and grow within a vibrant and evolving organization.
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in the US or Canada.
