Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

Viva Deli Inc is seeking a reliable and physically capable Food Processing Labourer to join our team in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, ensuring smooth production operations.
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Work Environment:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
  • Collaborate with a team to achieve production goals, demonstrating efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Will train, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge in food processing and handling.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
