POSITION SUMMARY

The role of a Room Care Specialist goes beyond merely providing guests with a tidy room and a well-made bed. Our aim is to create an unforgettable and distinctive experience for each visitor. Room Care Specialists are proficient in various housekeeping tasks, responsible for upholding the aesthetic and cleanliness of the entire establishment. They possess the autonomy to navigate their environment and address needs as they arise. Whether fulfilling guest requests, replenishing supplies, cleaning accommodations and communal areas, or performing other related duties, the Room Care Specialist ensures that the hotel’s surroundings contribute positively to the guest experience.

Regardless of the position held, certain elements are essential for success – maintaining a secure work environment, adhering to company policies and protocols, safeguarding confidentiality, upholding quality benchmarks, and ensuring that personal appearance and communication remain professional. Room Care Specialists will be active and mobile (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods) and will take a hands-on approach to their responsibilities (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance). Excelling in these tasks (along with other reasonable job duties as assigned) is vital for Room Care Specialists to consistently meet the expectations of our guests and our organization.
