Production Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, ensuring quality standards and production schedules are met, and supporting our Production Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities- Train new operators and monitor their performance to ensure they are meeting quality and production standards.
- Ensure pre-start safety sheets are completed at the beginning of every shift and that operators have the necessary supplies to run the lines.
- Distribute parts to the stations as supplied by the AMR's or Material Handlers to ensure the line keeps running.
- Verify that operators are adhering to quality alert requirements and that production reporting is accurate.
- Assist in coordinating all service/sample building and ensure that the line is not excessively affected.
- Ensure all rework/repair procedures are followed and that repairs are processed through the function testers expediently.
- Uphold and enforce Magna Production System (MPS) principles of standardization and one-piece flow.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 6 months to 1 year of work experience as a team leader in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an assembly operator.
- Previous experience working in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D) equivalency preferred.
