Job Title: Food Processing Quality Control Technician

Mortimer's Fine Foods is seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and operate laboratory apparatus to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Compile records for analytical studies and interpret experimental or analytical results to inform quality control decisions.
  • Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct safety training programs to ensure employees are aware of and comply with safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Good understanding of quality control principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
