We are seeking a Senior Analyst, People Process & Technology to enhance our team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to further our Workday HCM journey while working for the largest employer in Canada.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Process & Technology, you will be part of the Business Analyst team that supports the scoping, design, and deployment of Workday features and enhancements with a focus on HCM, ensuring our Workday platform delivers a positive user experience.

In this role, you will maintain the integrity and overall operation of our Workday environment through ongoing product expertise, enhancements, support, testing, training, and troubleshooting.

As a Workday subject matter expert, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our users.

Plan, scope, and implement enhancements and initiatives in collaboration with Process leads, development teams, and other People Technology and business resources.

Lead the discovery, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and change management of Workday solutions for HCM.

Utilize your knowledge of Workday features to minimize user frustration, enhance productivity, reduce maintenance efforts, and deliver sustainable solutions at scale.

Analyze strategic problems, data, and information to provide insights and recommendations.
Recommend and implement solutions based on issue analysis and business impact.
Conduct research using Workday's online resources and community forums to provide subject matter expert support.
Promote reporting automation, self-service capabilities, and a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Typically, candidates should have between 3-5 years of Workday experience across multiple HR disciplines and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This role supports Talent transformation initiatives.
Advanced knowledge and experience with Workday specifically for HCM are required.
Familiarity with delivered Workday tools and functionalities is essential.
Knowledge and experience with the Workday Security model are also important.
Key skills include project management, effective verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
Ability to influence design decisions based on knowledge of Workday capabilities is necessary.
Familiarity with the Workday Deployment Methodology / SDLC (e.g., Plan, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Support) is required.

A willingness and curiosity to learn and grow in the Workday space by expanding and maintaining your current Workday knowledge and certifications, understanding the product roadmap, and dynamically solving problems through hands-on experience, research, and experimentation is essential.
