We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PES Case Worker to join our team at the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. As a PES Case Worker, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to clients on Income Assistance in the community of Hall Lake and Sucker River.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess client employability and identify barriers to employment
- Develop and implement individualized Action Plans to support clients in achieving employment goals
- Coordinate case management supports and services to meet client needs
- Referral of clients to programs and services for training, employment supports, and mental/addiction and job transition supports
- Diploma in social sciences
- One-year experience in counselling First Nations members
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak Cree and knowledge of the Woodland Cree culture is an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
