Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Star House Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Restock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with food and supplies.
- Handle and store cleaning products and chemicals safely.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist with dishwashing, including washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and teamwork skills essential.
