Job Summary

Brodex inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor, Textile Processing to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating work activities, improving productivity and product quality, and supervising a team of labourers and sewing machine operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating Work Activities
    • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Improving Productivity and Product Quality
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
  • Machinery Setup and Maintenance
    • Set up and maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers, including labourers in textile processing and sewing machine operators.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions
    • Work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail required.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Other trades certificate or diploma.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility.
    • Reliability.
    • Team player.
  • Language
    • French language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.
