Position Overview

As a Child Development Specialist at the Early Learning Childcare Centre, you will play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of young children. Your expertise will contribute to creating a nurturing environment that promotes holistic development.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Possession of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute childcare programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children.
  • Manage inventory by ordering necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Engage children through storytelling, music, and creative activities.
  • Support children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Prepare nutritious snacks and organize spaces for meals and rest.
  • Monitor children for any signs of learning or behavioral challenges and document observations for communication with parents or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Experience

Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in early childhood education.
