Job Title: Tile Setter

Cristin Tile & Marble Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to ensure accurate alignment and straightness.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in tile setting and installation.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid safety certifications and ability to wear personal protective equipment.
