Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

New-Way Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Carefully load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all cargo is delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, overtime required.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, team player.
