Airport Security Compliance Officer

Job Summary:
The Airport Security Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring all Transport Canada regulations are met within the airport. This includes escorting construction workers through restricted areas and working 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations
- Escort construction workers through restricted areas
- Work 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation
- Meet with construction workers to discuss project details and ensure compliance
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance
- Develop and implement compliance procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance
- Provide training to construction workers on compliance procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or industrial work sites
- 3 or more years of clean driving experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexible scheduling
- Ability to drive airside
- Security related experience
- A high degree of professionalism
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
Education and Certifications:
- Completion of First Aid
- Valid RAIC through Transport Canada
- Security license through the Department of Justice
- AVSEC Training course (5 days, paid)
- Online training courses through Paladin employee portal
- Additional courses as required
