We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of AutoCAD on macOS. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to gather requirements, plan tests, execute tests, and report progress.
  • Develop comprehensive software test plans, focusing on user interface, functionality, performance, and workflow.
  • Manually execute test designs to identify defects in features or products and prioritize defects.
  • Receive defect reports from various sources and confirm and track specific issues for use by development.
  • Write test cases based on real production work and create scripts for automation.
  • Uphold high-quality standards for the products you work on.
  • Support customers by addressing training issues and identifying defects.
  • Partner with experienced engineers to absorb best practices in software development.

Requirements

  • Background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or relevant domains.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Software QA, Design Institute, or relevant industries.
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems.
  • Eagerness for new challenges and expanding knowledge.
  • Experience with CAD software, scripting, or Auto LISP programming, C++/C# experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in application testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development Processes and Product Development Life Cycle.
  • Accuracy/Attention to Detail: Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Keen interest in new technologies and their timely adoption.
  • Ability to learn large software systems quickly.
  • Ability to work well in a team to deliver on team goals.
  • Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed and require minimal supervision.
