Role Summary

What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities Orillia branch is currently in search of an Associate to become a vital part of a well-established Wealth Management team, which specializes in delivering investment and wealth management solutions to a discerning clientele. Your role will involve fostering robust client relationships by providing exceptional and efficient service in addressing client needs and handling administrative responsibilities related to client accounts. A genuine passion for assisting individuals in achieving their financial aspirations and collaborating as part of a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Investment Advisor team with general administrative tasks in managing client accounts, including the preparation of client reviews, presentations, meetings, and events.
  • Professionally handle incoming telephone and email inquiries from clients, their advisors, and other internal and external partners.
  • Engage directly with clients and their advisors to request necessary information and documentation to meet their needs (such as account openings, trade executions, reporting, etc.).
  • Collaborate with a talented team of colleagues to implement a service plan that ensures proactive and high-quality client service, delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Requirements

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) (may be in progress).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver world-class client service that is perceived as professional, warm, and friendly.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures is an asset.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the securities industry.
  • A proactive, committed, and entrepreneurial mindset.
