About the Role

Nedco, a leading electrical industry distributor, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse/Counter Associate to join our team in Kingston. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Processing: Confirm stock availability, suggest alternatives, and process orders, inquiries, and quotations.
  • Inventory Management: Put away counter and warehouse stock, participate in regular cycle counts, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Customer Service: Directly service customers via phone and counter sales, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Pick, receive, and ship duties as required.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous warehouse and counter sales experience in the electrical industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to impart knowledge.
  • Product Knowledge: Product knowledge of the electrical business.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
