Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various routine Hematological, Microbiological, Biochemical, and Immunohematological testing in accordance with Departmental Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and prepare specimens for analysis
  • Perform routine testing in Hematology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Immunohematology
  • Work under the direction of the Chief Medical Technologist
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate testing
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Current Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science registration
  • One year of recent related experience
  • Experience in all disciplines preferred
