About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to manage our critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. The role involves configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization to ensure the availability and reliability of our products. This position requires strong technical skills as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage SQL Server databases across various environments.
- Configure and maintain database servers for optimal performance.
- Implement data modeling techniques to ensure integration and performance.
- Provide real-time issue resolution and automation of processes.
- Support developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Offer 24/7 support for production systems.
- Perform maintenance and deployment activities as needed.
- Mentor team members and share technical expertise.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of MS SQL Server Administration experience.
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization.
- Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options.
- Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
- Understanding of PCI DSS and Windows server.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible team player with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
