Palliser School Division Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Arabic Instructor to join our team at Palliser North area schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and instructing religious language in the Tahfeeth program under the direction of the school Principal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and instruct religious language in the Tahfeeth program
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to promote a safe and caring school environment
  • Support the learning community by providing instruction and guidance to students
  • Plan for optimum learning and create a classroom environment that promotes student success
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree, or Master's Degree, in Arabic/Islamic Studies
  • Previous experience as an Arabic & Islamic Instructor is considered an asset
  • Successful Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sectors (within 3 months of contract start date)
