Job Title: Peddle Line Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Peddle Line Driver to join our team at our Saskatoon, SK location. As a Peddle Line Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight across rural Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 1A vehicle to transport freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform regular maintenance checks and pre-trip/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Load and unload freight in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Handle freight and freight documents
  • Adhere to all safety and traffic laws
  • Perform other duties as requested to meet the needs of the operation

Qualifications:
  • Class 1A License
  • Good customer service skills and a customer-oriented attitude
  • Thorough knowledge of equipment usage and repair
  • Experience in loading and unloading
  • Working knowledge of heated and refrigeration operation
  • Knowledge of provincial weight and dimension regulations
  • Knowledge of city routes and country routes
