Position Overview

The Beverage Retail Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our liquor store, ensuring a high standard of service and efficiency.

Education Requirements

Work Environment

This position is situated within a retail business setting, focusing on the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and guide staff, including apprentices and volunteers.
  • Delegate tasks to sales personnel effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills.
  • Authorize financial transactions, including cheque payments.
  • Manage merchandise returns as per company policy.
  • Create and maintain employee work schedules.
  • Engage in the sale of products directly to customers.
  • Compile and present reports regarding sales performance, inventory management, and staffing issues.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply challenges.
  • Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of team members.
Supervisory Scope

This role involves supervising a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
