Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repairer-Painter to join our team at 4 WHEEL COLLISION & FRAME LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and painting vehicles to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute repair work to be performed, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and identify any defects or issues.
  • Clean and maintain the work space, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, using the appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, ensuring a secure and sturdy fit.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using the correct techniques and materials to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Repair or replace interior components, such as upholstery and trim, to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a seamless and professional finish.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the automotive body repair and painting industry.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 35-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
