About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Maximum Home Support Services Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen management.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other light housekeeping tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and reference required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
