Assignment: Indigenous Success Coordinator

Specialty Required: Degree in Indigenous Studies

FTE: 1.0 (Permanent Full-Time)

This role will focus on supporting the academic and personal success of Indigenous students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and promoting cultural awareness and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Indigenous student outcomes
  • Provide guidance and support to Indigenous students, teachers, and staff
  • Collaborate with community partners to enhance Indigenous student experiences
  • Contribute to the development of culturally responsive teaching practices

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Indigenous Studies or a related field
  • Experience working with Indigenous students and communities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
