Assignment: Indigenous Success Coordinator
Specialty Required: Degree in Indigenous Studies
FTE: 1.0 (Permanent Full-Time)
This role will focus on supporting the academic and personal success of Indigenous students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and promoting cultural awareness and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Indigenous student outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to Indigenous students, teachers, and staff
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance Indigenous student experiences
- Contribute to the development of culturally responsive teaching practices
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Indigenous Studies or a related field
- Experience working with Indigenous students and communities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
