We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement client care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients and their families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in critical care nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Advanced preparation in Critical Care, one-year recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment, and successful completion of the Northern Health Cardiac Course, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve patient-centered care.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
