Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and modifying heating systems to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and modify heating systems, including radiators, steam traps, and control valves.
  • Work with blueprints and schematic drawings to repair, modify, and install building mechanical and plumbing services and equipment.
  • Collaborate with a team of trades and professionals to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with plumbing codes.
  • Develop and maintain effective records related to the position.
Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in all phases of installation, maintenance, modification, inspection, and replacement of building mechanical and plumbing services and equipment.
  • Province of Manitoba or Interprovincial qualifications as a Journeyman Plumber or Fitter/Steamfitter required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • City of Winnipeg Backflow Prevention certification required.
Working Conditions

This position requires heavy lifting, bending, and working in elevated places on various pieces of equipment. The ability to work in confined spaces and an unpredictable environment is also essential.

Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
