About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan resident care, delivering skilled procedures and medication administration in accordance with quality management and legislative requirements.
- Collaborate with residents and their substitute decision makers to understand their needs, preferences, and health status.
- Develop and evaluate plans of care, setting goals and priorities to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Provide supervision, assistance, and oversight to nursing team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Participate in conferences with the interdisciplinary team, contributing to resident care and well-being.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Knowledge of nursing process, geriatric care, and current trends in the field.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in both official languages (English and French) an asset.
- Demonstrated administrative and computer skills, with experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to set priorities and organize work in response to resident needs.
