Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Jass and Jasika Transport Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Ensure that cargo is properly secured and loaded/unloaded at designated locations.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform Emergency Roadside Repairs: Conduct basic repairs and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Record Cargo Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Transport and Handle Hazardous Materials: Safely transport and handle hazardous materials, adhering to all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
