Job Description:


As a Truck Driver at Sani Marc Inc, you will be responsible for delivering our products in "Dry box" to various regions in Montréal, la Beauce, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, and Québec. You will depart and arrive from our distribution center in Victoriaville every day. Your tasks will include unloading merchandise at clients' locations.


Responsibilities:
  • Deliver merchandise to various clients of the company;
  • Monitor all vehicle functions, including equipment condition, loading, unloading, cargo safety and security;
  • Record information on cargo, distances traveled, gasoline consumption, and other details in the logbook;
  • Follow Sani-Marc's rules regarding logbook use and ISAAC software;
  • Adhere to company ISO standards and procedures;
  • Work safely;
  • Operate trucks or articulated vehicles within the class 1 defined by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and order;
  • Perform pre-departure inspections;
  • Comply with road safety code at all times.

Requirements:
  • Hold a class 1 driver's license;
  • Hold a professional training in heavy vehicle driving or relevant experience in driving heavy vehicles;
  • Be responsible, methodical, and conscientious;
  • Have good visual acuity;
  • Have good manual dexterity;
  • Be in good physical condition;
  • Have good concentration ability.

  • Risks associated with chemical products;
  • Training on forklift operation given by Sani Marc;
  • Transportation of hazardous materials (TMD);
  • Safe handling of chemical products;
  • SIMDUT;
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) and risk management;
  • Characteristics of the position and equipment.
