Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Tokyo Avenue. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of our menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Chef Supervision: Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure that the kitchen is clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting heavy objects.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language
