CIVIL CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the planning and oversight of construction projects to ensure they are completed according to design specifications, safety regulations, and budgetary constraints.
  2. Coordinate resources necessary for project execution.
  3. Supervise subcontractors and suppliers effectively.
  4. Engage with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Prepare and monitor budget and cost reports.
  6. Assess and quantify design modifications.
  7. Provide support to project teams.
  8. Manage progress claims and amendments with clients.
  9. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  10. Handle requests for information, submittals, and project closeout documentation.
Required Competencies:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Strong grasp of civil engineering principles and the ability to convey ideas effectively.
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  4. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  5. Capable of working independently and demonstrating organizational skills.
  6. Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
  7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  8. Effective time management capabilities.
  9. Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  10. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
