Job Overview:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will coach and develop your store team to deliver exceptional customer service and help pet owners find the right nutrition and solutions for their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer service standards are met by staff and maintain relationships with the community
  • Manage a team of employees, including recruiting, scheduling, training, and supervision
  • Coordinate order placements, maintain inventory, and ensure store audits and safety audits are completed
  • Coordinate efforts of store staff to achieve targeted results

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years customer service and retail store management experience
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growth in the pet care industry
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work as scheduled to meet attendance requirements
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store
