Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Four Points Express. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and diesel engines.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Inspection: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, ensuring that all repairs are made in a timely and efficient manner.
- Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required, and make necessary repairs to diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work on heavy equipment and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Quality Control: Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications, guaranteeing the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Qualities: Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
