Position Overview
Objective
Are you motivated by the prospect of tackling diverse projects that demand innovative solutions and the application of exemplary project management techniques? Do you aspire to thrive in a stimulating environment that allows you to contribute to projects both in Quebec, Canada, and on an international scale?
As a member of a team dedicated to executing special large-scale initiatives, you will represent, support, and guide clients through various types and sizes of multidisciplinary projects. Your role will encompass multiple aspects of engineering, construction, and project management.
We seek an individual who values variety in their work, where each day presents new challenges. The ideal candidate is sociable, adept at building relationships, and possesses the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing multidisciplinary coordination and maintaining communication with clients throughout the execution of special large-scale initiatives.
- Actively contributing to the identification of solutions aimed at enhancing project quality and performance.
- Recognizing and tracking issues that may impact budgets and timelines in accordance with established milestones.
- Managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers while addressing technical inquiries.
- Overseeing design management and construction management processes.
- Administering the tendering process, including the awarding and negotiation of construction and professional services contracts.
- Compiling, managing, and delivering construction contracts and professional scopes of work.
- Coordinating overall project management activities, including contract administration, scheduling, procurement, and permitting management.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring effective communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Eligibility for Professional Engineer designation from a Canadian organization (e.g., OIQ, PEO) or in the process of obtaining it.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills, priority management capabilities, and a commitment to teamwork in dynamic environments.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering plans and technical specifications.
