Lifemark is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to achieve their goals and maximize their functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients and their families to promote independence, safety, and well-being.
- Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Supervise and mentor occupational therapy students to foster their growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
- Previous experience working with clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
