Job Title: Automotive Technician

Gestion de Flotte Tristan Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair issues with commercial transport trucks, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices.
  • Provide customer service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians. The work will involve standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.
