Work Environment

Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and quantities of food supplies.
  • Oversee the activities of other kitchen staff including specialist chefs and cooks.
  • Develop innovative recipes and menu items.
  • Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for various events.
  • Consult with clients to tailor menus for special occasions.
  • Ensure food quality meets high standards.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols.
Supervision

Supervise a team of 3-4 kitchen personnel.

Qualifications
  • Certificates: Cook Trade Certification required.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Expertise in Vietnamese cuisine.
  • Food Specialties: Proficient in stocks, soups, and sauces.
