Senior Network Security Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Design Specialist to join our team at ADGA Group Consultants Inc. As a key member of our Networks and Security Branch, you will contribute to the planning, designing, testing, and implementing infrastructure security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide infrastructure security engineering and integration services to projects, including planning, designing, building, and deploying Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions in complex enterprise infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, system designs, service artifacts, and more.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical advice in support of procurement of infrastructure security solutions.
- Represent the work unit in working groups, project meetings, and joint design sessions.
- Apply defined engineering and integration processes, best practices, and standards to ensure consistent designs.
- Review, analyze, and apply architectural methods, frameworks, and models, as well as a broad range of security technologies.
- A minimum of a three-year college diploma in computer science or an IT-related field, or a university degree at the Bachelor level in Information Technology or an IT-related field.
- 10+ years of experience performing tasks similar to those listed in the job description.
- A minimum of five years within the last eight years of experience fulfilling the role of an IT Security Design Specialist (Architect) in a Federal Government of Canada department considered part of the Public Safety Portfolio or Security and Intelligence Portfolio.
- Must have a minimum of five years within the past eight years architecting IT security solutions to meet client requirements.
- Must have three years of experience within the last five years architecting and providing solutions for Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI).
- Must have experience within the past five years preparing private sector, government departments, and agencies for certification to ITSG-33 or NIST-800-53.
- Must have experience within the past five years performing design and architecture for cross-domain solutions within the private sector, government departments, or agencies.
