Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Pilot to join our team at MAG Aerospace. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of flight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and effective flight operations, including identification of aircraft maintenance faults and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Airborne Sensor Operators (ASO) and Mission Commanders to execute mission objectives.
  • Monitor airspace, weather, radio communications, mission flight boundaries, and other air traffic.
  • Coordinate with Fixed Base Operators, military range control, Air Traffic Control (ATC) facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth flight operations.
  • Operate modified Contractor Owned Contractor Operated aircraft in accordance with commercial and Host Nation regulations.
  • Maintain night currency and instrument proficiency.
  • Hold a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license, and FCC Commercial Radio Operator License.
  • Prior overseas rotation experience, particularly in USCENTCOM/USAFRICOM/USAPACOM area of operations.
  • Experience operating aircraft with a MTOW of 44,000 pounds or more.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
Requirements
  • Valid passport with at least six months remaining prior to expiration.
  • Ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position.
